It is an incredible week at the coast. The sun is out and the beaches look great. Come on over and spent some time with us before the summer crowds arrive. Spring Break at Bridges

We are running all kinds of specials in Bridges Restaurant and Lounge. Happy Hour in the lounge has been expanded, it now runs from 4pm to 7pm. In the restaurant we have started a program where kids under 10 eat breakfast free off the children's breakfast menu with each adult order. Also, make sure to get your coupon for 15% off any entree in Bridges at the front desk.

Tsunami Evacuation

At 7:30 this morning, as a result of the devasting earthquake in Japan, the Newport Bayfront, including the Embarcadero, was evacuated by local authorities. Although no major waves have been reported, some surges have been observed on the Oregon Coast beaches. Currently no structures or roads have been affected. As of 10:20 am warning is still in effect. We do anticipate the warnings to be lifted within the next few hours. Warning was upgraded to advisory at 2pm. Please stay off beaches until advisory is lifted.

Great Crabbing!

There is lot's of great crabbing going on here at the Embarcadero. We have a private dock just for catching the shelled critters. After you've caught your limit, drag them over to the cooking and cleaning station. Then for a little surf and turf, throw a steak on the bar-b-que next to the cleaning station and have a great time watching the boats go by at the picnic table. Sound like fun? The crabs are waiting...........................
