Bridges Restaurant & Lounge will be closed January 2-9, 2012 for upgrades to our Heating & Colling system. Please join us when we re-open on the 10th for new menus and specials.

NOAA in Port

We are pleased to officially welcome NOAA and the first ship at the dock here in Newport. We are proud to be the new Home Base of NOAA's Pacific Fleet Operations.

Celtic Festival & Highland Games

It is an incredible week at the coast. The sun is out and the beaches look great. Come on over and spent some time with us before the summer crowds arrive. Many of our rooms have been remodelled, our lobby has a new look and even our gift shop has been transformed. Spring Break at Bridges

We are running all kinds of specials in Bridges Restaurant and Lounge. Happy Hour in the lounge has been expanded, it now runs from 4pm to 7pm. In the restaurant we have started a program where kids under 10 eat breakfast free off the children's breakfast menu with each adult order. Also, make sure to get your coupon for 15% off any entree in Bridges at the front desk.

Tsunami Evacuation

At 7:30 this morning, as a result of the devasting earthquake in Japan, the Newport Bayfront, including the Embarcadero, was evacuated by local authorities. Although no major waves have been reported, some surges have been observed on the Oregon Coast beaches. Currently no structures or roads have been affected. As of 10:20 am warning is still in effect. We do anticipate the warnings to be lifted within the next few hours. Warning was upgraded to advisory at 2pm. Please stay off beaches until advisory is lifted.

Great Crabbing!

There is lot's of great crabbing going on here at the Embarcadero. We have a private dock just for catching the shelled critters. After you've caught your limit, drag them over to the cooking and cleaning station. Then for a little surf and turf, throw a steak on the bar-b-que next to the cleaning station and have a great time watching the boats go by at the picnic table. Sound like fun? The crabs are waiting...........................

Resort Improvements

Spring is a great time to visit the coast, and now is an even better time to spend a few days at the Embarcadero. Many of our condominium style rooms have been upgraded and remodeled. Our lobby and meeting space has been renovated with a fresh new look. Even our restaurant and lounge has gone through some changes with new menus and even better food. If you haven't visited us lately, it's time to come see what all the excitement is about. Be sure to try one of our new Specialty Suites or Premium rooms, you may never want to go home.

Wow, March entered like a lion on the first day of March. High winds signalled the coming of Spring and we couldn't be happier. We are excited here at the Embarcadero to welcome all of our Spring Break visitors with a newly remodelled lobby, new rooms, new menus and great service.
